Amber Alert update: Abducted baby boy found, LA County Sheriff’s office reports
The missing 2-month-old baby boy who was abducted on Friday was found at 11:50 a.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.
The latest news came via Twitter, with the L.A sheriff’s Twitter page reporting the baby had been found. The alleged abductor, 42-year-old Jeffrey Michael Gomes, is in custody. Officials said he is the baby’s biological father.

An Amber Alert was issued Friday afternoon for the baby boy, Jefferson Gomes. The alert was issued for parts of Central California and Southern California. The California Highway Patrol said a number of people in Fresno had reported seeing what they believed was the suspect truck, but no match was verified.
