Fresno police on Friday released a photo of a vehicle suspected to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Blackstone Avenue.

The photo shows a red Chevy or GMC lifted pick up truck with an extended cab or four-door. Police said the truck has front end damage on the driver’s side. It also has chrome side step running boards.

The incident happened Aug. 27 at about 8:55 p.m. when the suspect vehicle was traveling south on Blackstone Avenue in the right lane near Griffith Way when the victim was attempting to cross the street in front of the Carl’s Jr. restaurant. The truck hit the victim, a Hispanic man in his 20s, as he was walking west across Blackstone.

The truck fled the scene, heading south on Blackstone. The victim died from the collision.
