Officers questioned a Lindsay man in connection to a peeping Tom who was caught on camera looking through windows of a home Tuesday, the Lindsay Department of Public Safety said.

Public safety officers responded to the 400 block of North Mirage Avenue around 6:25 a.m. for a call about a prowler peering though windows – possibly for sexual gratification, the department said.

The reporting party provided officers with surveillance video showing the suspect entering the property and looking through windows.

Officers searched the area and contacted the suspect around 7:15 a.m., the department said.

On Thursday, detectives arrested Jose Magana Ibarra, 30, of Lindsay, on charges of committing a lewd act in public and indecent exposure. He was in the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department and was awaiting arraignment on the charges and a violation of probation hearing for unrelated offenses.

Anyone with information on this case should contact the Department of Public Safety at 559-562-2511.
