Two aboard motorcycle are killed in three-vehicle crash in southeast Fresno

A man and a woman were killed Friday afternoon when their motorcycle broadsided an SUV at the intersection of Willow and Tulare avenues in southeast Fresno, police said.

The accident occurred around 3:51 p.m. Friday, causing the closure of Tulare Avenue. The roadway could remain closed until 7:30 p.m., police said.

Police said the motorcycle was heading east on Tulare when a westbound SUV made a left turn and the motorcycle crashed into the side of the SUV. The two vehicles then collided with another SUV that was stopped at a light on Willow. The SUVs involved were a GMC Envoy and a Nissan Pathfinder, police said.

The man and woman on the motorcycle died, police said. There were no other injuries, police said.
