Fresno County fire 5 miles south of Tollhouse burns up to 70 acres
A fire in the Fresno County foothills grew to about 70 acres late Saturday afternoon, just three hours after the initial start, said Cal Fire Capt. Tim Gehret.
Cal Fire received a call at 2:26 p.m. about a grass fire off Oak Flat Lane and Sales Creek Road, 5 miles south of Tollhouse.
Gehret said the fire initially burned 5 to 10 acres and there were structures that were initially threatened.
There were no reports of injuries and the structures are no longer being threatened, Gehret said.
