Woman goes missing, days after boyfriend is suspected of torching car
A woman last seen three days after her boyfriend was suspected of burning her vehicle remains missing, Fresno police reported Friday.
Priscilla A. Garza, 24, was last heard from June 1 and last seen May 29 at her home near Olive and Palm avenues. Each time she had said she was headed to turn herself in, a police flier states, for several misdemeanor warrants.
On May 26, according to police, Garza’s car was torched in front of her home, with evidence pointing to the boyfriend, who is in custody. It was not immediately known when the boyfriend was arrested.
Garza called her mother June 1, but from a blocked number, again saying she was going to surrender on the warrants.
