Body discovered in orchard near Selma
The body of a man was found in a grape vineyard by a farmworker in southern Fresno County southeast of Selma on Thursday, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.
The farmworker discovered the body about 1:45 pm and called authorities.
The body had visible signs of injury and the case is being investigated as a homicide, sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti said.
The identity of the male victim was not immediately available and it’s not known when or how the body got to the site, near Mountain View and Bethel avenues.
