‘He’s my baby brother and I’m sick about it,’ she said of missing Donnie Dale Lee of Squaw Valley
Fresno County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for help finding a 63-year-old Squaw Valley man missing since Nov. 1, 2016
Donnie Dale Lee is missing under suspicious circumstances, according to sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti, who said Lee does not have a history of disappearing. Botti said the search for Lee was not previously announced because detectives have been sorting through “second- and third-hand” information on the whereabouts of Lee before going public with the appeal.
Lee is 6 feet 1 inch and 175 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He may have a mustache and has a tribal tattoo on his upper right arm and a heart-and-arrow tattoo on his left calf.
Lee’s birthday is June 2 and friends and family members will hold a vigil at 7 p.m. Friday at the Country Store in Squaw Valley, 36822 Sand Creek Road.
“He’s my baby brother and I’m just sick about it,” said Sequita Shaw of Visalia about the disappearance. Shaw said the family is planning to release 63 balloons as part of the vigil.
She said Lee left behind his truck and his wallet when he vanished, making the circumstances especially suspicious. Lee, a native of Dinuba, is a cement worker and a truck driver. He stayed with his sister for a time last year after he was injured when a tire he was working on exploded.
Anyone with information about Lee is asked to call Detective Jose Diaz at 559-600-8206 or Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867 (STOP).
