If you know the answer but can’t exactly spell the word, you’re not alone.

Turns out Californians have a tough time spelling “beautiful.” It’s the state’s most searched “how to spell” word on Google.

Google Trends created a map that breaks down the most searched for words by state.

Other states that needed help spelling “beautiful” included Kentucky, Illinois and New York.

The map is an interesting indicator what’s on the mind of people in each state.

“Chihuahua,” for example, was the most searched how-to-spell word in Arkansas.

“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” was listed for both Connecticut and West Virginia.

One must wonder why folks in Georgia struggle to spell “gray.”

The same goes for Rhode Island residents when it comes to “liar.”

And why are people in New Hampshire frequently looking up how to spell “diarrhea?”

Also, is it sad that those in Wisconsin often have to look up how to spell their own state?
