Update: 10:05 a.m.: A third Fresno date, Sunday Sept. 25, has been added to Garth Brooks’ tour. All tickets on sale now.
One hour before tickets were to go on sale, Garth Brooks announced a second date at Fresno’s Save Mart Center.
The country music superstar will play the arena Friday, Sept. 23. That is in addition to his already announced show Saturday, Sept. 24. Both shows will feature Brooks wife, country singer Trisha Yearwood. Tickets are $74.98 with fees and service charges and available online only starting 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5. Note, tickets will not be available at the box office or Ticketmaster outlets and there will be an eight-ticket limit per purchase.
This is not the first time Brooks has played multiple dates in Fresno. On his last outing in town, he played five nights at the Selland Arena. It seems to be the singer’s MO. Brooks played six nights in Sacramento last March and another three nights in San Jose in November, leaving one to wonder if there will be more additional dates to come.
