Rauw Alejandro at the Save Mart Center this Friday

Puerto Rican singer and rapper Rauw Alejandro – whose music style includes Latin R & B, Reggaeton, rhythmic pop and ballads – will be performing at 8 p.m. at the Save Mart Center this Friday (April 15) in Fresno.

The stop in Fresno is part of the 29-year-old’s 2022 Arena Tour which includes several venues in California.

Referred to as the ‘King of Modern Reggaeton,’ Rauw Alejandro belongs to “the new generation” of Puerto Rican urban musicians.

His debut studio album ‘Afrodisíaco,’ was released in November 2020 and was nominated to the Grammys in the best urban music album category, a category inaugurated this year.

With seven nominations, Rauw Alejandro is one of the big favorites at the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMA’s). The awards ceremony will take place on April 21 from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on Telemundo.

His second studio album, ‘Vice Versa,’ released in June 2021, featured the lead single ‘Todo de Ti’ that rocketed to No. 3 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, went six times platinum in the U.S.

Rauw Alejandro has won one Latin Grammy Award.
