TRAC football coaches break down nonleague schedule

Football coaches from the Tri-River Athletic Conference’s six schools gathered Wednesday at the Old Town Clovis Kiwanis Club for the league’s second Media Day luncheon.

Matt Giordano (Buchanan), Kyle Biggs (Central), Rich Hammond (Clovis), Jim O’Brien (Clovis East), Casey Quinn (Clovis North) and George Petrissans (Clovis West) touched on a range of topics, including their nonleague schedules, with play beginning Thursday when Clovis North plays at Sunnyside.

In other Week 1 games in the TRAC, Buchanan hosts Hanford, Central plays Bullard at McLane and Clovis West hosts Liberty-Bakersfield at Lamonica Stadium on Friday; and Clovis hosts Burbank-Sacramento and Clovis East is at St. Ignatius-San Francisco on Saturday.
