The last installment of the high school football rankings in the Central Section is here and of course there are a lot of changes.

What is not changed is Nos. 1 and 2.

That is because it is occupied by No. 1 Clovis East and No. 2 Clovis North.

Both will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Lamonica Stadium for the Tri-River Athletic Conference title.

One team made its 2024 debut in the rankings.

Tulare Western outlasted Lemoore 14-7. The win puts the Mustangs at No. 24 while the Tigers are No. 25.

The Mustangs will hope to knock off No. 8 Tulare Union in the annual Bell game.
