Showdown between top teams highlights The Bee latest Top 25 high school football rankings

Clovis East remains the top-ranked team by The Fresno Bee.

The Timberwolves made quick work on No. 11 Clovis West 44-3 to improve to 6-0 overall and 1-0 in the Tri-River Athletic Conference.

Clovis remains No. 2 after defeating No. 10 Buchanan 37-10.

The Cougars will face another tough test, this time against No. 3 Clovis North.

The Broncos are coming off a 26-21 victory over No. 4 Central.

A West Yosemite League showdown will take place Friday when No. 6 Hanford hosts No. 7 Tulare Union.

The Bullpups defeated Dinuba 43-6 while Tulare Union routed Lemoore 49-21.
