Peyton Van Worth of Dos Palos voted the Fresno-area football Player of the Week for Oct. 26

Dos Palos’ Peyton Van Worth is voted The Fresno Bee’s high school football Player of the Week for Oct. 26-27.

Van Worth finished with 3,530 votes (73%).

He finished ahead of Israel Robles of Sanger who had 585 votes (12%).

Twenty-one players were nominated. Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 5.

Recent winners are Julien Velez, Kerman; Jordan Colbert, San Joaquin Memorial; Noah Zamora, McLane; Elijah Daley, Lemoore; Jayden Silva, Mendota; Israel Robles, Sanger; Andre Flores, Dos Palos; Noah Tasi, Coalinga; Johnny Cunha, Lemoore; and Earl Riley, Central.
