Noah Zamora of McLane wins the Fresno-area football Player of the Week poll for Oct. 5-6

Noah Zamora of McLane won The Fresno Bee’s high school football Player of the Week poll for Oct. 5-6.

Zamora finished with 21,459 votes (59%). He finished ahead of Peyton Van Worth of Dos Palos, who received 6,067 votes (17%). Third was Enrique Rios of Corcoran (4,746 votes, 13%).

Thirty-two players were nominated and voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Oct. 15.

Recent winners are Elijah Daley, Lemoore; Jayden Silva, Mendota; Israel Robles, Sanger; Andre Flores, Dos Palos; Noah Tasi, Coalinga; Johnny Cunha, Lemoore; and Earl Riley, Central.
