Mendota’s Jayden Silva wins The Fresno Bee football Player of the Week poll for Sept. 21-23

Jayden Silva of Mendota is the winner of The Fresno Bee high school football Player of the Week poll for Sept. 21. 23.

Silva won the poll with 36,008 votes (47%). His votes finished ahead of Landon McKee of Sierra Pacific who had 26,693 votes (35%).

Jacob Molina of Exeter was third with 6,541 votes (8%).

Seventeen players were nominated. Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Oct. 1.

Recent winners are Israel Robles, Sanger; Andre Flores, Dos Palos; Noah Tasi, Coalinga; Johnny Cunha, Lemoore; and Earl Riley, Central.
