High school football season is set to start. Here are 25 Fresno-area players to watch

With Fresno-area high school football teams set to kick off the season beginning Aug. 18, it’s time for a list of players to watch.

Many are worthy; here are 25 who made a mark in years past including San Joaquin Memorial’s versatile Brandon Ramirez, who helped the Panthers to a County/Metro Athletic Conference title last season, and Buchanan quarterback and Fresno State recruit Jayden Mandal, who led the Bears to a Tri-River Athletic Conference championship.
