Bee’s Best prep football poll: See the winner of the Player of the Week for Nov. 12

Mario Cosma is the winner of The Bee’s Player of the Week for the Central Section quarterfinals.

Cosma received 7,149 votes (80%) and finished ahead of Dayton Tafoya of Central who had 1,444 votes (16%).

Thirteen high school football players in the Fresno area were nominated for The Bee’s Player of the Week poll from the Central Section quarterfinals.

The poll ended at noon Saturday.

Past winners: Tanner Wilson of Sunnyside (Week 0), Beau Green of Madera (Week 1), Andrew Camarillo of Orosi (Week 2), Ah’marion Gaines-Smith of Central (Week 3), Caleb Hall of Edison (Week 4), Cayden Muir of Hanford (Week 5 and Week 6), Ashton Chalabian of Kerman (Week 7), Roland Russo of Bullard (Week 8), Gaines-Smith (Week 9), Jr. Cervantes of Woodlake (Week 10) and Russo (opening week of playoffs).
