Shakeup in The Bee’s Top 25 football rankings after a big matchup that turned lopsided
For the first time this season, there is movement in the top five of The Bee’s Central Section high school football rankings.
Clovis was No. 5 entering its game against then-No. 12 Bullard last week, a rout won by the Knights 35-12.
The win moves Bullard back into the Top 10, jumping up three spots to No. 9 while the Cougars fall five spots to No. 10.
Clovis West fell two spots to No. 12 after a loss to Turlock.
Dinuba came into Week 4 at No. 20, but lost to Edison 40-20 — the Tigers’ first win. The Emperors remain in the Top 25, but barely. They sit at No. 25.
The Tigers remain on the outside looking in after facing some of the top teams in the Central Section.
Edison faces No. 1 Buchanan on Friday at McLane Stadium.
