Who are some of the top football players in the Fresno area to watch as the season gets going this week? We have you covered by giving you our 50 players to keep an eye on.
Clovis High quarterback Nate Johnson, who committed to Utah in early June, is one of the players.
In five games in the spring, the 6-foot-2 Johnson completed 68 of 104 for 1,022 yards and eight touchdowns against three interceptions.
He provided more on the ground for the Cougars when he had 49 carries for 307 yards and five touchdowns, including a 100-yard run.
Johnson has other offers from Michigan, Fresno State, Arizona State and Oregon State.
