He has many offers, but this Big Ten school surprised Buchanan High running back Kendall Milton

Ohio State is the latest major-college football program to offer Buchanan High running back Kendall Milton a scholarship.

Milton, who will be a junior in the fall, took to Twitter to make the announcement of the offer from the Buckeyes saying “he’s extremely blessed.”

“Being my first Big 10 offer, words couldn’t explain it,” Milton said.

The 6-foot-2, 208-pounder already has 17 offers.

He was still on the football field last weekend, playing in the International Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Milton led the U.S. under-17 national team to a 50-6 victory over Team British Columbia. He had eight carries for 98 yards and three touchdowns and was named MVP.

This week, Milton also picked up offers from Oregon and Washington State, pushing his Pac-12 total to 10 including USC and UCLA. Others are from Fresno State, Florida State and Tennessee.

He is rated 55th overall in the 2020 class by 247sports.com.

“It shows that everything I’ve put into this game is paying off,” Milton said. “And motivates me to keep working to get where I need to be.”
