There were plenty of changes in the latest Fresno Bee basketball rankings for boys and girls.

Last week, then-unranked Edison defeated then-No. 5 San Joaquin Memorial 81-72 in County/Metro Athletic Conference action.

The win by the Tigers puts them at No. 25, while the Panthers fell three spots to No. 8.

No. 1 St. Joseph, No. 2 Clovis West and No. 3 Clovis North remain the top three teams.

Clovis East had it tough last week, losing to Clovis North and Clovis West. The Timberwolves remain No. 4.

No. 5 Buchanan moved up one spot after defeating Clovis and Central and No. 6 Bullard also go up one spot after wins over Sanger and Garza.

On the girls side, Clovis West remains the top-ranked team, but there was a significant change in the rankings.

Selma enters the rankings at No. 23 after picking up wins over Central Valley Christian and then-No. 21 ranked Exeter.

The Monarchs drop out of the rankings.
