San Joaquin Memorial and Bullard win to remain even in the CMAC
The Bee’s top-ranked San Joaquin Memorial boys basketball team defeated No. 10 Sanger 80-53 in a County/Metro Athletic Conference game on Friday night.
Jalen Green led the way for the Panthers when he finished with 32 points and 12 rebounds. Dameane Douglas added 26 points.
The Panthers got a boost from an unexpected visitor: alum Quincy Pondexter, who was released by the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.
On Jan. 16, the Apaches defeated Memorial 85-75.
The Panthers and Bullard are co-leaders in the CMAC at 6-1. The fourth-ranked Knights rolled past Madera 72-44.
