Roosevelt’s David Meza voted the Fresno-area Athlete of the Week for March 4-9
David Meza of the Roosevelt High baseball team was voted The Fresno Bee’s Athlete of the Week for the week of March 4-9.
Meza had 789 votes (72%) to finish ahead of Clara Wagner of Sanger track and field who had 215 votes (20%).
Seventeen high school athletes were nominated from baseball, softball and track and field.
Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. March 17.
