Clovis West’s Riley Walls named the Fresno area Athlete of the Week for Feb. 19-24
Riley Walls of the Clovis West girls basketball team is voted The Fresno Bee’s Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 12-17.
Walls had 3,908 votes (56%) to come out on top.
Finishing second was Gizelle Aguirre of Caruthers soccer, who had 1,908 votes 27%).
Nineteen high school athletes were nominated from basketball, soccer and wrestling.
Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. March 3.
