The Clovis East High boys volleyball team had no problem during the regular season.
Especially in the Tri-River Athletic Conference, rolling to a 10-0 record.
How about the Central Section playoffs? It was more of the same.
Thursday’s match against No. 2 Clovis proved that, though they had to rally.
Top-seeded Clovis East won the Central Section Division I championship in four sets, 15-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-17, win the title for the first time since the 2020-2021 season.

Clovis East defeated No. 8 St. Joseph (3-0) and No. 5 Clovis West (3-1) to get to the title game.
Next up for both teams is the NorCal regionals, which will be played next week.
▪ Division II: Top-seed San Luis Obispo defeated No. 2 Fresno Christian in five sets.
Badminton: Clovis East reigns supreme
