The winner of the The Bee’s prep girls poll for April 10 is Anissa Torres of Caruthers

Anissa Torres of Caruthers softball wins The Fresno Bee Girls Athlete of the Week poll for April 10-15.

She received 5,267 votes (44%).

Finishing second was Hannah Marinovich of Clovis West swimming (4,111, 34%).

The 15 high school athletes nominated came from softball, swimming and track and field.

Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. April 24.

Past winners are Chloe Solis of Clovis East softball, Mia Castillo of Orange Cove softball, Star Roman-Elizondo of Orange Cove softball, Gizelle Aguirre of Caruthers softball, Daisy Regalado of Mt. Whitney softball, Isabella Marie Gonzales of Clovis East wrestling, Morgan O’Neal of Buchanan soccer, Hannah Peters of Clovis North soccer, Abigail Ochoa of Washington Union soccer, Morgan Trigueiro of Caruthers basketball (three times), Jaelyn Bourdeau of Coalinga basketball, Alexis Holland of Washington Union basketball, Taryn Brice of Clovis West soccer and Taylor Rombaoa of Clovis East basketball.
