Mt. Whitney’s Daisy Regalado voted The Bee’s prep girls Athlete of the Week for March 6
Daisy Regalado of Mt. Whitney softball is voted The Bee’s prep girls Athlete of the Week for March 6-11.
She received 3,201 votes (61%) to finish ahead of Natalia Delgadillo of Immanuel softball (1,728, 33%).
Twelve high school athletes were nominated that came from basketball and softball.
Voting ended 11:59 p.m. March 20.
Past winners are Isabella Marie Gonzales, Clovis East wrestling, Morgan O’Neal of Buchanan soccer, Hannah Peters of Clovis North soccer, Abigail Ochoa of Washington Union soccer, Morgan Trigueiro of Caruthers basketball (three times), Jaelyn Bourdeau of Coalinga basketball, Alexis Holland of Washington Union basketball, Taryn Brice of Clovis West soccer and Taylor Rombaoa of Clovis East basketball.
