Isabella Marie Gonzales of Clovis East wrestling is The Bee’s girls Athlete of the Week for Feb. 20-Feb. 25.

She finished with 28,035 votes (61%). Finishing second was Raquel Cortez of Reedley basketball, who had 12,233 votes (26%).

The 12 high school athletes nominated came from basketball, soccer and wrestling.

Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. March 6.

Past winners are Morgan O’Neal of Buchanan soccer, Hannah Peters of Clovis North soccer, Abigail Ochoa of Washington Union soccer, Morgan Trigueiro of Caruthers basketball (two times), Jaelyn Bourdeau of Coalinga basketball, Alexis Holland of Washington Union basketball, Taryn Brice of Clovis West soccer and Taylor Rombaoa of Clovis East basketball.
