Morgan O’Neal of Buchanan soccer wins The Bee’s girls poll for Feb. 13-18

Morgan O’Neal of Buchanan soccer received 16,256 votes (46%) and is The Fresno Bee Girls Athlete of the Week winner for Feb. 13-18.

Brooke Oldham of Clovis North soccer was second with 12,606 votes (35%). Natalie Ochoa of Clovis soccer was third with 6,407 votes (18%).

The 15 high school athletes nominated cAme from basketball, soccer, softball and wrestling.

Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Feb. 27.

Past winners are Hannah Peters of Clovis North soccer, Abigail Ochoa of Washington Union soccer, Morgan Trigueiro of Caruthers basketball (two times), Jaelyn Bourdeau of Coalinga basketball, Alexis Holland of Washington Union basketball, Taryn Brice of Clovis West soccer and Taylor Rombaoa of Clovis East basketball.
