Hannah Peters of Clovis North is The Bee’s prep girls poll winner for Feb. 6-11

Hannah Peters of Clovis North won The Fresno Bee Girls Athlete of the Week poll for Feb. 6-11.

She had 217,979 votes (77%).

Taking second was Gizelle Aguirre of Caruthers soccer. She finished with 59,632 votes (21%).

The 12 high school athletes nominated came from basketball, soccer and softball.

Past winners are Abigail Ochoa of Washington Union soccer, Morgan Trigueiro of Caruthers basketball (two times), Jaelyn Bourdeau of Coalinga basketball, Alexis Holland of Washington Union basketball, Taryn Brice of Clovis West soccer and Taylor Rombaoa of Clovis East basketball.
