Fresno-area preps: Clovis North upset shakes boys basketball rankings; CW girls rolling
The Bee’s Top 25 high school basketball rankings got a shakeup after a big win by Clovis North.
The Broncos hosted Clovis West last week in a Tri-River Athletic Conference opener and won 68-66 in a close game throughout.
Clovis North has won six straight to move up to No 2 in the latest Bee rankings.
The Golden Eagles fell two spots to No. 3. Clovis West rebounded with wins over Central and Sheldon-Sacramento.
Centennial holds the top spot after picking up wins over Stockdale and Centra.

The Bee’s No. 1 girls basketball team is Clovis West (18-0), which went 2-0 last week defeating Clovis North and Central.
The biggest matchup of the week was No. 3 Clovis vs. No. 2 Buchanan in the TRAC, won by Clovis 63-48.
Clovis moves up to No. 2 while the Bears drop to No. 3.
