Bee’s best: Golden West is voted the best high school band in the Fresno region
Golden West was voted by readers as the best high school band in the Fresno region.
The Trailblazers picked up 55,628 votes (45%), finishing ahead of Central’s 23,954 votes (19%).
Coming in third was Orange Cove with 11,775 votes (9%).
Last year, we wanted to know which band is best and readers voted for Dinuba.
Our poll included schools with bands of all styles — those that perform in parades and march in field shows, as well as pep bands that hype up fans from the bleachers.
Voting closed at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 18.
