CVC’s Lilinoe Spencer wins The Fresno prep Athlete of the Week poll for Oct. 24-29
Lilinoe Spencer of Central Valley Christian volleyball came away the winner of The Fresno Bee Athlete of the Week poll for Oct. 24-29.
Spencer finished with 47,.565 votes (40%) to finish ahead of Nicholas Burgos of Hanford West boys water polo who received 38,245 votes (32%).
Karlee De Groot of Central Valley Christian volleyball was third with 19,938 votes (17%).
Spencer had a combined 32 kills, 27 digs, six aces and two blocks in two wins for the Cavaliers that week.
Seventeen Fresno-area athletes were up for votes.
The athletes were from cross country, golf, volleyball and water polo.
Previous winners were Haley Rangel of Clovis West volleyball, Morgan Wilson of Clovis North volleyball, Mayezie Loggins of Clovis West water polo, Jazlynn Vargas of Madera South volleyball, Marissa Sanchez of Kerman volleyball, Evan Torres of Parlier cross country, Stephanie Sanchez of Fowler volleyball, Jordyn Kwalwasser of Clovis East volleyball, Jazzy Vargas of Madera South volleyball and Nailea Fields of Caruthers volleyball.
