Fowler’s Stephanie Sanchez wins The Bee Athlete of the Week poll for Sept. 5-10
Stephanie Sanchez of Fowler is the winner of The Fresno Bee’s Athlete of the Week poll for Sept. 5-10.
Sanchez finished with 645 votes (93%).
She he had 12 assists, helping the Redcats to a sweep over Riverdale during that week.
Eighteen Fresno-area high school players were nominated drawing from cross country, water polo and girls volleyball.
Previous winners were Jordyn Kwalwasser of Clovis East volleyball, Jazzy Vargas of Madera South volleyball and Nailea Fields of Caruthers volleyball.
