Top 25 matchups and two lopsided wins shake up The Fresno Bee prep football rankings

There are changes in The Fresno Bee high school football Top 25 after six Week 2 matchups involving ranked teams.

San Joaquin Memorial’s 23-21 victory over Central kept the Panthers at No. 3. But the Grizzlies dropped two spots to No. 6 behind No. 4 Clovis West and No. 5 Hanford. The Golden Eagles rolled to a 48-0 victory over Turlock, while the Bullpups dominated Buhach Colony-Atwater 66-21.

Central Valley Christian shut out Mt. Whitney 44-0 to move up one spot to No. 8.

Dropping out of the Top 25 are Washington Union following a 56-35 loss to No. 18 Lemoore and Redwood after a 17-16 loss to Clovis North.

No. 25 Mission Oak makes its debut in the rankings.
