The Buchanan High baseball team remains The Bee’s top-ranked team heading into the final week of the regular season.

Last week, the Bears won 2 of 3 against Clovis West to stay on top in the Tri-River Athletic Conference.

Clovis West remains No. 2 despite the two losses to Buchanan.

Teams below the Bears and Golden Eagles did move around, however.

Bullard defeated Sanger twice and moved up one spot to No. 3 while San Joaquin Memorial is No. 4.

The Knights and Panthers will meet in a key County/Metro Athletic Conference showdown. Bullard has a one-game lead over Memorial at 9-1 with two games remaining.

Kerman is now No. 5 after picking up two wins over Yosemite, but the Lions’ (26-0) win streak is one the line this week in a big North Sequoia League matchup against No. 16 Liberty-Madera Ranchos.

For other movements in the rankings, see below
