Kerman’s Ayden Olivares wins The Fresno Bee Boys Athlete of the Week poll for April 18-23

Ayden Olivares of Kerman High received 32,224 votes (48%) to win The Fresno Bee’s Boys Athlete of the Week poll for April 18-23.

He finished ahead of Jakson Bucher of Liberty-Madera Ranchos baseball who had 36% of the votes.

The 17 athletes nominated were from baseball and track and field.

The poll closed at midnight Sunday.

Recent winners include: Orion Tomlinson of Fresno Christian basketball, Camden Thompson of Clovis East basketball, Landon Almeida of Caruthers basketball, Ismael Gonzalez of Riverdale soccer, Beunju Moon of Lemoore basketball, Luke Karle of Sanger basketball, Jackson Young of Clovis West basketball, Adam Delgado of Kerman baseball, Collin DeBorde of Clovis North baseball, Derek McNary of Hanford baseball, Gio Chavez of Lindsay baseball, Brayden Rhodes of Reedley baseball, Zack Jones of Kings Christian baseball and Jerod Smith of Fowler baseball.
