Bee’s Best: Check out to see the winner of the boys and girls Athlete of the Week for Oct. 25-30

Susie Phillips of Central Valley Christian golf is the winner of The Bee’s Athlete of the Week for Oct. 25-30.

She received 25,279 votes (40%) ahead of Hannah Baker of Exeter volleyball who picked up 15,336 votes (24%).

Kyana Rivera of Reedley volleyball came in third with 4,902 votes (8%). Lusha Bibioff of Kerman volleyball also received 8% of the votes (4,801).

Twenty-four athletes were nominated.

Athletes came from cross country, golf, volleyball and water polo.

The poll closed at noon Saturday.

Past winners: Grace Van Der Kooi of Central Valley Christian volleyball, Katelyn Goforth of Kerman volleyball, Andrew Gray of Madera water polo, Krisalynn Turman of Caruthers volleyball, Margaret Arambula of Mission Oak volleyball, Kristen Landen of Clovis West volleyball, Gabby Russell of Clovis West volleyball, Goforth again and Marissa Mendrin of Kerman volleyball.
