Preps: Central’s Walker shines in Arcadia; All-Star game results and poll winners
Central High junior Jeremiah Walker picked up where he left off from the Central Section Masters track and field meet.
Walker took first in the 400 meters at the California State Championships, clocking in at 48.50 seconds on Saturday.

Walker helped Central win the Masters meet at Buchanan. He won the 200 and 400 and was part of the winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams. Walker set the Central Section 200 record when he clocked a wind-legal 21.02, according to section track and field historian Ron Blackwood.
