Winner of the fourth FresnoBee.com winter sports Player of the Week is ...

Hector Magaña of Woodlake High boys basketball is the winner of The Fresno Bee’s Player of the Week for Feb. 3-8.

Magaña accumulated 27,916 votes (45%) ahead of Isabella Duran of the Lindsay girls soccer team. She had 26,944 votes (43%).

Magaña scored 27 points in a loss to Corcoran, giving him 1,014 for his career with the Tigers, according to Central Section historian Bob Barnett – and Magaña is just a junior.

Rounding out the voting was Joseph Hunter of San Joaquin Memorial basketball with 3,562 votes (6%), Nico Thomas of Roosevelt basketball (3,443 votes, 6%) and Cristian Torres of Sanger soccer (592 votes, 1%).

Voting returns Wednesday.
