Fresno State football: Home and away Mountain West games set for 2016
The Mountain West Conference released the home-away portion of its 2016 schedule Thursday, with all 12 teams playing five divisional games and three cross-divisional games.
Fresno State, coming off a 3-9 season that included a 2-6 record in conference play, will play its conference home games against Air Force, Hawaii, San Diego State and San Jose State and go on the road to play Colorado State, Nevada, UNLV and Utah State.
Dates for the league games will be released in the coming weeks and be followed by details regarding non-Saturday games, television selections and kickoff times.
The Bulldogs open the season Sept. 3 at Nebraska, play their home opener Sept. 10 against Sacramento State and complete their nonconference schedule with a Sept. 17 game at Toledo and a Sept. 24 game at home against Tulsa.
