Fresno State opens at USC. Pac-12 announces football schedule for rebuilding conference
Dates, game times and the television broadcast schedule for 11 of the Fresno State Bulldogs’ regular-season football games were released on Wednesday with the 12th, the home-and-home flex game at the end of the Pac-12 Conference season, to be determined.
The opponent, time and television for that flex game, on Nov. 28 at Valley Children’s Stadium, will be announced no later than six days before it is to be played.
The rebuilding Pac-12 has eight football-playing members and will play seven conference games and the flex game as a non-conference matchup. It retains the right to adjust matchups in that final week of the regular season based on the best interests of the league, including College Football Playoff considerations.
The Bulldogs, coming off a 9-4 season that included a victory over Miami-Ohio in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, will open on Sept. 4 at USC on FOX. It will be the third year in a row Fresno State opens with a game on a major broadcast network — its game at Kansas last season was on FOX, and it opened at Michigan in 2024 on NBC.
Nine of the Bulldogs games will be televised by Pac-12 partners CBS Sports, USA Sports and The CW with two additional games broadcast through other conference’s TV agreements.
Fresno State also will play all of its home games on a Saturday for a fourth year in a row. A Halloween game against Oregon State at Valley Children’s Stadium is set for the USA Sports, but the kickoff time is still to be determined with options at 4 p.m. or 8 p.m.
