What on earth was ESPN doing during the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl?

Many viewers caught the error during the game — not just once but many times as the network referred to Fresno State as the “Fresno State Bulldongs.”

Many joked about it and even adjusted the Bulldogs’ logo to reflect that.

Not sure what happened and why the typo happened, but at least many got a kick out of it.

Another viewer said he would like to buy some “Bulldongs” gear. Perhaps in time for Christmas.

The mistake was captured when Fresno State scored its first touchdown. The error continued during the game.

Fresno State lost to Northern Illinois 28-20 in double overtime, snapping the Bulldogs’ six-bowl winning streak.

It is unclear how and why the mistake happened.
