What TV channel is the New Mexico Bowl between Fresno State and New Mexico State on?

UPDATE: The start of the New Mexico Bowl is on ESPNEWS and ESPN+ while another bowl game is in overtime. The game will be on ESPN at the conclusion of the other game.

ORIGINAL STORY: The New Mexico Bowl between Fresno State and New Mexico State will air on ESPN.

Kickoff is set for 2:45 p.m. Saturday from University Stadium in Albuquerque. Calling the game is Clay Matvik, Rod Gilmore and Lauren Sisler, who will report from the sideline.

The Bulldogs enter with an 8-4 record after finishing 4-4 in the Mountain West. The Aggies are 10-4 and finished Conference USA with a 7-1 record.

Fresno State leads the all-time series 18-1, with the lone loss coming to the Aggies in 2011.

This season, New Mexico State defeated Auburn 31-10. The Aggies’ lone loss in Conference USA came to Liberty, 49-35.

Fresno State comes into the game with three straight losses. Tim Skipper is the acting head coach while Jeff Tedford stepped away due to ‘personal health concerns.’

New Mexico State is listed as -3.5-point favorite.
