Fans react to Fresno State’s lopsided loss to San José State. ‘Isn’t the first time.’

Fresno State was no match for San José State on Saturday night.

Fans watching the Mountain West Conference matchup in the Bay Area were stunned by the convincing win by the 5-5 Spartans.

Final: San José State 42, Fresno State 18.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 8-2 and third in the Mountain West.

Fresno State wasn’t the only Mountain West that had a surprising loss on Saturday night.

Air Force lost to Hawaii 27-13 that now puts UNLV at the top of the Mountain West standings, followed by the Falcons, Fresno State, San Jose State and Boise State.

The top two teams make it to the Mountain West championship.
