Another Fresno-area high school football player makes his commitment to the Bulldogs
Central Valley Christian star running back Bryson Donelson is staying home to play college football next season.
Donelson, listed at 6-foot and 205 pounds, made his verbal commitment Saturday night to play for Fresno State.
Donelson, rated by 247 Sports as a three-star running back, had offers from Boise State, Boston College, Colorado State, New Mexico, San Jose State and Washington State.
Just how committed is Donelson to Fresno State?
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote he’s 1000% committed.
This season, Donelson has been dominant for the 6-1 Cavaliers.
He has 79 carries for 1,292 yards and 21 touchdowns to go along with two receiving touchdowns.
Last season, he finished with 1,466 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.
He transferred to CVC from El Diamante where he did damage for the Miners, too, finishing there with 12 touchdowns.
Fresno State has done well with local recruiting.
Marshel Sanders, Jordan Pierro, Tytus Khajavi of Clovis West, Buchanan’s Logan Studt and El Diamante’s Marsel Akins already committed to the Bulldogs.
