Some TV viewers missed Fresno State’s first touchdown against Washington State at the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl at SoFi Stadium.

Why? Jackson State scored a late touchdown to send the first game of the day on ABC to overtime against North Carolina Central in the Celebration Bowl.

What was missed? Oh, a Jake Haener touchdown pass to a wide-open Zane Pope for 22 yards with 11:54 remaining in the first quarter.

LA Bowl coverage started on ESPNEWS until the Jackson State-North Carolina Central game ended.

The Bulldogs-Cougars game was joined in progress with 7:23 left in the first half.
