Nevada dominates inside in women’s basketball victory over Fresno State
The Fresno State women’s basketball team lost 90-73 Thursday night at Nevada in a Mountain West Conference opener in Reno.
The Bulldogs (5-7) led 19-16 after the first quarter before wilting under dominating inside presence by the Wolf Pack (8-4), who scored 52 points in the paint.
Candice White led Fresno State with 24 points and a career-high seven assists.
The Bulldogs were outrebounded 50-35.
Fresno State continues its Mountain West season-opening road trip Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at Air Force.
